So, the default setting of the internal switch for the aux input is to the left, which according to the manual, is for external footswitch. I have been using various voltage sources to trigger the SLIGHT using the aux input with the switch set this way and none of them is a footswitch...but it seems to work just fine.

I am confused on why the manual also states that setting the same internal switch to the right enables Audio Pulse Triggering. Should it be set here for non-footswitch CV sources? If so, why does it work when in the footswitch position? Is this a setting for using strictly audio sources rather than gates, lfos, etc?

Just looking for a little clarification. cat

it works in that position, it just works poorly. there is a short list of reasons why it still works in that position.... lets choose 'safety' for our purposes here today

So, for using CV exclusively to control that aux input, I should move the internal switch to Audio Pulse Triggering? To the right, yes?

Thanks!

for footswitch use tab 3 should be pushed into its casing toward the boards

for external voltage use you will want tab 3 pulled out away from the boards

Done.

I kept all cables and patching exactly the same as before and flipped the switch - works and responds to the same CV source exactly as it did before, but now I am safe in knowing that I am doing it the "right" way.
